From 2014-2016, we held a street festival in our neighborhood—Albany Park World Fest, produced by Special Events Management. This celebration of food, music, art and culture will be a fun and family friendly event for Albany Parkers, as well as for those from other neighborhoods who might not know much about our vibrant community.
Albany Park Neighbors is a fest beneficiary, which means a portion of the proceeds will go to our group and help improve the community for all who live, work, play, and do business here.
Date & Time: August 16 from noon to 10pm and August 17 from noon to 9pm
Location: Kimball between Lawrence & Wilson
Cost: Suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family
Transportation & Parking:
During the weekend of Albany Park World Fest, the CTA will be performing work on the Brown Line between Manor and Rockwell. This might mean that passengers headed to or from the Fest will have to take shuttles. Paid parking can be found along Lawrence and Montrose Avenues.

Cevapcici Chicago (Eastern European) – These sausages are a festival staple, and entirely delicious!
Family Activities:
A children’s area will feature pony rides, a petting zoo and more. A church service will also be celebrated by New Life Community Church at 12:30pm on Sunday.
Transportation:
The Kimball bus will be re-routed to accommodate the festival. Please follow signage at your stop for details and allot a few more minutes to get to your destination.
Volunteer:
Help us make the fest a success by taking a short shift at the entrance gates or serving in the beer tents. If you’re 21 or older,sign up!
