There’s so much to love about Albany Park: cuisine, diversity, transit options, parks, and more. But our neighborhood does face some challenges. We wish to rise to these challenges by connecting with neighbors and local authorities. Please, join us and lend your support!Here are the issue areas our meeting attendees have outlined as of paramount importance.

SUPPOrt LOcal BUsinesses

  • Recognize responsible area merchants
  • Hold Supper Club nights at area restaurants
  • Raise awareness about zoning proposals within our service area
  • Invite entrepreneurs to consider our community

Connect neighbors

  • Hold monthly meetings
  • Organize movies in the park, mixers, parties, walks, book clubs, and dining clubs
  • In the past, we organized Albany Park World Fest, a weekend street fest that brought tens of thousands of people to Albany Park

  • Connect residents with info about news and events in our community
  • Collaborate with area groups on candidate and election forums
  • Develop online dining & shopping guides
  • Create flyers with information relevant to our neighborhood
